QR codes (Quick Response Code)

QR codes have been around for a while now and are gaining in popularity every day. It is really cool to be able to simply scan a QR code with your smart phone, and presto! You are instantly transported to the corresponding website. QR codes can be used for a lot of different things though. Your QR code can take you directly to a website URL, display some predetermined text, send a text message, and much more.

How to read QR codes:

In order to read QR codes on your smart phone, all you have to do is download an application that reads QR codes.

How do I make a QR code?

There are many different websites and programs that let you create QR Codes but my favorite is RedLaser.

It is really simple:

1.  Go to http://www.redlaser.com/qrcode/

2.  Select the type of QR Code you want to make

3. Fill in the appropriate information

4. Click the "Generate" button

5. Your done! Simple as that
