masterIT team member spotlight - Karen Brewster

Mrs. Karen Brewster has been an essential and valuable part of the masterIT team from the get-go. Karen has the heart of a servant. She serves in many different ways, but I'll let her describe one of her favorite areas of serving.

  "Cooking has always been a passion of mine, and I just love to get creative in the kitchen. It is especially enjoyable when my grandchildren come over and we bake cookies together. I sit them up on the counter so they can help add ingredients and stir, then of course once we are finished they get to lick the spoon. One of the best things about being a Nana is that you can load your grandchildren up on sugar then send them home to their mom and dad! As you might have guessed, I love to watch the Food Network. It gives me lots of ideas that I can’t wait to try out. I am a servant at heart and pleasing people’s culinary desires is one way that I love to serve. That’s why the best compliment I can get is the smile on someone’s face after eating a meal that I created for them. They say a way to a man’s heart is through his stomach, but I say that the way to anyone’s heart is through their stomach." ~ Karen Brewster
