Help Desk Position
This key role offers you the opportunity to do what you love -- work hands-on in IT -- while gaining the experience to take your career to the next level.
We're looking for someone with:
- 2-4 years of technical support/help desk experience
- Thorough knowledge of Windows 2000 and Windows XP in a networked domain environment.
- Solid Microsoft Outlook and email troubleshooting skills.
- Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
- Familiarity with configuring and troubleshooting networked printers.
- Good understanding of VPN and remote access concepts.
- Good understanding of TCP/IP and networking concepts.
- Basic understanding of DNS, WINS and TCP/IP.
You'll be joining masterIT, a leading outsourcing firm that helps companies leverage their technology investments.
While you'll start out performing the basic Help Desk tasks, we're looking for someone who lives and breathes IT and is looking to quickly advance his or her career. You will have plenty of opportunity to take on new projects -- you certainly won't be pigeonholed here -- and to expand your IT knowledge. Depending on your performance, this may evolve into a senior Help Desk and then a network or server administration role.
